About Us
Ballantine Environmental Resources, Inc. (BER) is owned and operated by Todd and Marianne Ballantine. Todd established BER in 1990. Marianne joined the company in 1997. In 1999 the Ballantines moved their company and family from Hilton Head Island, South Carolina to Boulder, Colorado. BER provides services for clients throughout the United States and internationally.

Todd Ballantine, President of BER, is an internationally known educator, environmental scientist, illustrator, author, musician, and interpretive naturalist. Todd has earned numerous awards in over 30 years of working to connect nature and human nature. Todd earned a BA in Economics from Colorado College, a Master of Science degree from University of England at Oxford, and a Certification in Advanced Montessori Education. |

Marianne Ballantine Marianne Ballantine is director of business operations for the company. She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. Marianne oversees project production, web design, technology, marketing, public relations, and finance. She is a photographer, and specializes in image search for various projects around the country. She is an avid birder, and nature lover.
